TRAINING OVERVIEW

These structured training programmes, funded by Scottish Enterprise Forth Valley and delivered by Falkirk Enterprise Action Trust (FEAT), are available, free of charge, to anyone planning to start a business, or trading for less than 12 months, in Falkirk district. The courses run monthly and are delivered by experienced tutors with inputs from external speakers. As well as benefiting from participation in group sessions, the programmes provide ample opportunity for those attending to discuss their business idea on a one-to-one basis with advisors.

Course objectives:

  • To develop and promote your customer and selling skills
  • To assist you in making best use of the money available to you
  • To make you aware of the network of business advice available to you
  • To assist you in completing a sound business plan
